The Active Citizenship project is an initiative of the Southern Gippsland Learning Communities Advisory Committee and is funded through the Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) Volunteer Support Grants Program. The project will be delivered across Southern Gippsland through a collaborative partnership of key stakeholders in the education, local government and health sectors. Active Citizenship is simply being involved in your local community through volunteer activities. The aim of the Active Citizenship project is to increase opportunity for voluntary participation and to encourage easy access to training and skills development. We hope you enjoy exploring our website and that it will provide valuable links to help you find a volunteer role that will be ‘just your cup of tea’!
